The following data is stored only on your device and is never sent to us:
- Pinned Apps: The list of apps you choose to pin to your home screen.
- App Settings: Your preferences such as theme (light/dark), clock visibility, and icon display settings.
- Hidden Apps: Any apps you choose to hide from the app drawer.
- Renamed Apps: Custom labels you set for applications.
This data is stored using Android's standard SharedPreferences and DataStore mechanisms and remains on your device.
Permissions
Quiet Launcher may request the following permissions:
- Usage Access (Optional): If granted, this permission allows the App to display usage statistics (e.g., most used apps). This data is processed locally and is never shared.
- Notification Access (Optional, Android 13+): Required only if you wish to receive notifications from the App. We do not read your other notifications.
All permissions are optional and the App will function without them, although some features may be limited.
Third-Party Services
Quiet Launcher uses the following third-party services:
- Firebase Analytics: We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand how users interact with the App (e.g., which features are used, app crashes). This data is collected anonymously and helps us improve the App.
- Firebase Crashlytics: We use Firebase Crashlytics to detect and diagnose app crashes and stability issues. Crash reports are sent automatically and may include device information and app state at the time of the crash.

Data Security
Since all your data remains on your device and is never transmitted, there is no risk of server-side data breaches from our end. Your data's security is maintained by your device's own security measures.
Children's Privacy
Our App does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. Since we don't collect any data, this is inherently compliant.
